I've received a lot of feedback on instagram about how I make motherhood look like a breeze
(which is soooo kind, thank you!),

but reality is, Ive been growing up with Klayklay;

The mother in me was born when he was, back on the 7th of July,
and from there, I started learning, every second of the day,
about my baby, about being a mother, about parenthood.

I feel like so much has changed in me, yet nothing has.
It's such a complicated feeling to explain, and you can't possibly understand,
unless you've been through it.
Unless you have become a mother yourself.

All in all, it makes me so proud to say that I am Klay's mother,
no matter how much responsibility that entails,
how many sleepless nights I've had and will be experiencing,
how much personal time I don't have anymore...

It's still the best thing I've ever done.

But there are so many things that have helped me with this difficult but rewarding first 3 mowith a newborn, and here are a few that I found made life much easier for us as new parents.

Styling awkward-length hair

I cut my hair short a couple months ago while I was still pregnant with Klay because I knew it would be awhile before I would have time to go to the Salon to get my hair done again.

Little did I know, it grew out so quickly! And now I am in the awkward phase of wanting-to-grow-out-my-hair-but-it-takes-time -_- I miss being able to do my messy top knots so much!

Our Birth Story: Klay Cheung

So it's been 28 days, and I finally feel like I am ready to share our birth story with you all,

before it becomes a bitter sweet vivid memory.

on our way to the hospital, about 30 mins after my water broke.

What mandeeeeesays at 25 weeks pregnant, and now at 33 weeks.

I have never been one to have idols, but after 8 months of pregnancy, I have really started looking up to moms-to-be who take such good care of themselves, still looking great and taking fab pics for Instagram.

MATERNI-WHAT?

Some maternity wear are just plain dull and boring and I cannot stress that just because we are pregnant doesn’t mean we are only limited to maternity wear items. Some days when I go out I’d like to show a bit of effort even when I’m about to burst, literally.
