While I was in Rehab - Casual Attire

 

When my knee was in rehab, I lived in my Nike Lunarlons.

They, and my Nike Roshe Runs, were my go-to shoes

because they are COMFORTABLE to walk in.

My good old Ralph Lauren shorts 

because I had to wear my knee brace, so it was just easier.

And a comfy Gap logo jumper

to finish the look.

My knee is better now, after seeing 跌打 (Chinese doctor for sprains and things),

thanks to those who have asked ( :

TIP:

If you ever sprain or pull a tendon

and you have taken an MRI to make sure you haven't ripped it,

GO SEE 跌打 ("TIT DA")!

It helps! Very efficient and effective!!

...because just resting with ice (the western doctor's way) takes too long...

Still walking relatively slowly to regain my left leg's muscle strength,

but am healing slowly but surely.

Something EPIC is happening in 3 days.

Work Wednesdays - My love for the midi skirt (Updated HD photos)

It's been a very busy week for me

so I do appologize for the quality of pictures for this week's Work Wednesday outfit.

But here you go, with my current midi-skirt obsession, I put together the following:

Jelly? Sandals.

These jelly sandals are phenomenal.

Super soft and super comfy.

(and mine being clear allows for my pedicures to shine through :D)

I can walk all day without feeling like i've been in plastic sandals all day!

They go well with all kinds of summer outfits,

but if in doubt,

an over-the-knee skater skirt is always safe.

Shoes are boring, wear sneakers.

No matter what day of the week it is,

always change into comfy shoes after work.

I was heading to our friend's birthday dinner last night,

so a skirt was totally appropriate.

but I was in my work Oxford's all day

(although all my shoes have no height, wearing proper shoes are still tiring..)
and I knew my feet wanted a break

so I put on a pair of classic Chuck Taylors to complete the look.

PERFECT

in my terms

(and no matter how hard I try to keep it down,

my hair always ends up in a bun by the end of the day..)

New love: Mandals

A whole weekend of mandals weather.

So beautiful

So warm

So fantastic.

works perfectly with my manly style ( :

hahaha..

on this day I chose to style them with leggings and a loose white shirt

for full on comfort.

the best thing about holidays

is you can try out different outfits

and when it comes to an early work morning

you don't really have to think as hard

as to how to style yourself with certain pieces of clothing.

i could totally see myself dressing like this for work

By the way, these grey Jack Wills leggings are

by far the most COMFORTABLE leggings I have come across.

They are soft and easy to to match with errrrrrrrything it's unbelievable.

Bought them cuz I needed some grey leggings at the time

Fell in love with them as soon as I put them on.

gosh..

I still have so many ideas as to what I can style these awesome mandals with when spring comes.
